Hi, Kate !
I am happy to see that you are working on something, yes, I applaud you for your initiative !
I guess what you are saying is that you are starting an account on Telegram on which you will start posting videos. That's great. Remember that you can have a podcast Channel on You Tube, also. The first thing you'll need to do is read the terms of service at every host website you upload your videos to. These hosts have very specific guidelines and some of the details you only learn about once you upload content they don't like. So make sure that your goals are definite and that you approve of whichever video host websites you will be putting your content on.
Part of the zest and dynamic experience of being a journalist is showing content that you feel very strongly about. It is perfectly okay to present current events. I would suggest that you maybe pick a few topics that you feel close to and explore by interviewing people as well as explaining your perception as well as providing evidence and documentation which can validate your credibility. Do not copy, but watch some independent podcasts by doing a search online and notice the format and you can pick out elements that you like or don't care for such as what type of music, setting, having guests, Zoom format, studio format. The best way to learn or be inspired can be from watching videos that people make.
To me, one of the most annoying things is horrible sounding music that is so loud you can't hear the film clip or the person talking. Intro music that is unpleasant. You want your theme music to set a tone for who you are. It's best for you to be inspired for what you think is important content.
I would suggest that you do not upload your videos only to Telegram. Upload your videos to as many different sites that you can manage. Just do a search for the sites online. Also, register at Linked In and upload them to your feed. Make sure that you connect with a lot of people on Linked In, TV Stations, Newspapers and Journals, other journalists. Start thinking about getting business cards with your urls or tags to all of your video platforms.
As a journalist, you are in charge and you get to pick out what you believe is relevant. Gear your show to a large audience and use some of the talent you used in your work in Russia.
Best wishes !

My advice is to ensure you get news from a source that is not biased politically.
Most of the mainstream media today has a decidedly left wing slant.
Over time that prejudice builds and clouds critical thinking in favor of group think, falsehoods, propaganda.
It's hard to say that there are any news sources out there that are completely politically agnostic. I haven't found one yet.
So my advice would be get one source center left and another center right ...and try to find the truth somewhere between those two.
Good luck
