How can I make money as a student with certain limitations?

Hi! recently ive wanted to find a way to earn money, but limitations like having my guardians not favor wanting me to go out much or pursue having a side hustle or such, or having situations where I dont exactly have money to make more money , id also say a limiting factor is my age, im still 15 and student yet i want to take some breadwinning load off my parents if you'll take it that way.

I just want to be able to make a reasonable amount of money for reasonable amount of work while meeting conditions where i dont need to go out too much or have the feeling that I'd need to invest much while still being able to go on with my life as a student.
I dont necessarily need a direct answer even advice is appreciated

Vinie, asking help for experience and good people as you are doing here is always a good start. It is challenging from us give an advice without knowing details but one idea is do something you just need to invest your knowledge and time without the need to invest money. When I was teenager I always offered help in things that I was good such as mathematics, geography, play with kids and some friends asked if I could help them. In the beginning I started to it without an intention to win money, but I became good at it and than I decided to offer support in this activities for some money. Another idea is offer to clean cars, gardens and etc but you need first learn how to do it and a great way to learn is start doing it as a volunteer just for learning. For example, you could identify a person that is really good as baby siter and ask as vounteer to help her/his one day and ask help to learn to do it in a professional and good way, so you can learn and than offer your services to family or friends. The benefit of it is not fixed time that required big volume of hours by week. Can be 1 night by week for example for couples that want have some hours just them without their kids. I hope that helps and I wish you keep pursuing possibilities.

Anna’s Answer

Hi Vinie,

I am also located in the US so I'm not sure how helpful this answer will be.

Childcare: American teens work a lot with younger children as a caregiver. If your parents are open to it, this is something you could do in your own home, or your employer's home. It's a great part time opportunity with flexible hours.

AI LLM trainer: AI is growing quickly and some tech companies are looking for intelligent people to train their large language models. The time commitment is flexible and can be done from home.

Hope this helps!

Aaron’s Answer

Hi Vinie,

I must preface my answer with the fact that I am located in the US, where job opportunities are limited for persons under the age of 18, and I am not fully familiar with labor laws and age requirements for work in the Philippines. I know that many global companies rely on outsourcing certain jobs to the Philippines. You may be able to find an entry-level position that allows you to work from home. I just did a quick Google search and it appears that there are entry-level data entry, chat support, and phone support jobs available to do from home. This would give you the ability to generate income while honoring the expectations of your parents. I would suggest looking into these types of roles further to see if you qualify.

Aaron recommends the following next steps:

Research local/regional job opportunities via Google and local job posting sites.
