What a great question ! This is your time to explore and consider all careers, not just ones connected to your pastimes or hobbies. Most people either get inspired for a career at a young age or let life experience guide them. Many do not realize a career until they are older. So choosing a career is an individual experience and no one other than yourself can choose it for you. Take your time with it because there are a lot of careers out there so explore as many as you can.
Out of your favorite things to do, I see that hiking may tie in to one special career that I can suggest for you to explore further. That would be to consider being a Kansas Park Ranger. Since you like swimming, too, that may or may not come into play with this career, but one never knows what one may have to do while at work. Your other activities can be done at your leisure for your whole life and for enjoyment.
To become a Park Ranger in your state you would need a Bachelors Degree and in college you can major in Law Enforcement, Archeology or Fish and Wildlife Management. I left a link below for a website that has information about this career.

Determining what career path to choose is definitely a hard question to answer. Even after we have made a decision on a career path there are many factors that may influence our decision to change the career path we have started down.
It is crucial that you find a career that you absolutely love and sometimes we just stumble across that one career choice that makes all the difference in the world.
One thing that you will want to be aware of is that politics can play a big role in how your career progresses and the opportunities that may be withheld from you because you are not willing to go along with the desire of your employer. When I refer to politics, I mean bending (violating your integrity) for profit's sake.
Integrity is something you cannot buy, and its value is immeasurable, and it defines you as a person. Never compromise your integrity, no matter how difficult things may be!
I recommend that you start by taking several aptitude tests and compare the results and research the resulting career suggestions.
After you have narrowed down your career choices, I suggest that you contact potential employers in the field and conduct an informational interview with people doing the work you are desiring to peruse after.
I also recommend volunteering for the type of work/employers you are interested in to get a good feel for the work environment.
There is no guarantee that that you will retire in the career choice you make. You do not know if it will always remain in high demand or that you may determine that you made the wrong choice or you stumble upon something you like even better.

Something to consider, what is it you love about those hobbies? For example, hiking, do you love taking the trails you pick? The speed you enjoy? Stopping to look at something you find beautiful? Or waiting on others, being rushed when you’re not ready? Video games, do you like the games you like and playing on the setting you like? Or being told which game to play and what settings to use?
I used to think that I wanted to make my hobbies my job because I loved them. Turns out I love them on my own terms.
Therefore, I found a well paying job that I was interested but could really be a hobby. This allows me to enjoy my hobbies to a degree that otherwise I couldn’t.
