How am I able to be in the nfl and or be a therapist?

I am 13 and my hopes and dreams are to be in the nfl but if that doesn’t work what education does it take to become a therapist.

Hi Andres,

To become a physical therapist you will first have to earn a bachelors degree with a focus on anatomy, chemistry, biology or physiology to name a few.

Next, you will continue on to graduate school to earn a doctor of physical therapy degree from an accredited program.

Once you complete your degree you will then have to pass the national physical therapy exam and apply for licensure in the state you plan to work in.

If you want work in the sports setting or with athletes, some physical therapist choose to go on to complete additional training and certifications as well.

It may seem like along road but it is well worth it. Hope this helps and good luck.

There are many types of therapists. Physical Therapist as Fabrizio answered, there is also:

1. Occupational
2. Speech
3. Massage
4. Psychotherapist
5. Behavioral
6. Recreational

May I ask which one were you referring to please?
