What majors are for animal care careers?
What should I major in to work hands-on with animals (animal care like brushing, feeding, cleaning, walking, or training them)? I looked into zoology, psychology, and animal science and I don't know if any of them are what I'm looking for. I also don't know if I should go to college for this type of career. If there are colleges that have the major I'm looking for, then which ones are best suited for what I want to do?

Instead of majors like zoology, psychology, or animal science, consider programs that align more closely with your goals. These could include Veterinary Technology/Technician, Canine Training and Management, Equine Studies, and Animal Care and Management.
A variety of certificate programs are available at community colleges and vocational schools, offering training in veterinary assistance, animal training, and grooming. To gain practical experience, consider working directly with a professional dog trainer or groomer. Volunteering at zoos, animal care facilities, or shelters is another great way to build experience.

Look into becoming a vet tech. Community College may have this course. Or vocational schools. Also dog grooming.
