Cain teaching is one of the most rewarding and noble professions in the world as you are directly shaping the minds of our youth and influencing their growth. Being a teacher is a demanding job as you have to juggle various tasks and use different skills to do your job well. A teacher is constantly learning along with your students and should always be seeking to expand and improve their skills in different areas.

CREATIVITY
Make your classroom fun and engaging. No student likes having a PowerPoint teacher who just reads from the slides and expects the students to copy notes. Being creative means using a variety of materials and teaching strategies so that your students are always engaging with something new.

DEMONSTRATION
When presenting a new subject to your class, it helps to include a demonstration. While some students will be able to grasp a new concept by hearing the information alone, others will prefer to see it. Some students will need to see more than one example to get a good understanding. Make sure that you include several different demonstrations for each new concept, as repetition is a big part of committing new ideas to memory.

ENGAGEMENT
We are born with the instinct to inquire — as babies we use our senses to make connections to our surroundings. You'll want to engage your students to learn by asking questions, investigating, exploring, and reporting what they see. This process leads students to a deeper understanding of the content that they are learning, which helps them be able to apply these concepts in new situations. In order for our students to be able to be successful in the 21st century, they need to be able to answer complex questions and develop solutions for these problems.

TECHNOLOGY
Integrating technology into the classroom is a great way to empower students to stay connected in this technological era. Some examples of utilizing technology in the classroom may be to create web-based lessons or multimedia presentations such as a video, animation, or some type of graphic, utilizing a tablet or an iPad. Any of these technology integration strategies will have a positive impact on student learning.

INVOLVEMENT
Let a student or students lead the class in teaching requires preparation and a deep understanding of coursework. You can assign this task individually or break up students into groups. The goal of this strategy is to get your students to display the knowledge they have and to share it. In order to give a quality lesson, they will need to put extra time into making sure they fully comprehend the project. If they struggle in some areas, they will be motivated to ask questions in order to get the grade.

Remember patience is a virtue as a teacher you'll be work with students of all backgrounds and learning styles. Some students may be intrinsically motivated to learn, but others may require an extra push. It’s important to be patient and keep calm in all situations. It shows your students that you are in control and that they cannot easily make you lose your cool. However, be careful to set proper boundaries so your students don’t purposely test your patience. Let them know what is expected of them.
