Money is often exchanged for something of value. The party who has the money would want something. Whoever can provide that, within certain parameters, get the money for that thing.

So, to earn money, you have to provide something that someone else wants. That could be a material item, a service, information, or many other things.

Most people earn money by providing a service. A waiter helps patrons get their meals from a kitchen. A software developer provides their knowledge and experience to create code used by a business. A physician provides medical care. An artist provides art...and so on.

Well, not by focusing on money. Ask yourself what is the most burning problem that I can solve for people to encourage "Please take my money for it" approach. That is the first lesson of entrepreneurship. Find a problem which has churns that people avoid to work on, has huge pool of people facing it and fits at least one of your strengths.
