Any “words of advice” from a person in the marine biology field?

The field of marine biology is very large. If it is a field you are interested in studying, you will have to narrow down your interests - do you like geology, weather patterns, large animals, small animals, food webs, or the chemistry of the water itself? There is always so much to learn about marine biology which is one of the things that drew me to the field! I love being passionate about my job and being able to share that daily with other people; good luck with your studies!
