It seems you've already gathered some fantastic guidance! In my case, my faith is what gives me the sensation of living my life to the fullest. I'm confident that no matter what incredible experiences or obstacles come my way, God is right there with me. Larry, I am going to start by turning your first question upside down! I don't believe there is such a thing as having everything you want in most situations in life. What you can strive for, is a happy medium. Life is a series of choices and compromises. The more flexible you can be, the more satisfied. What do you want? Are these things realistic and obtainable? What is your understanding of a 'best' life? A meaningful life is not necessarily one where everything goes as planned; there are lessons in all types of experiences. Unexpected and unplanned events happen all the time and the better you can manage such circumstances the more appreciation you will have for everything else. What are your values? Your values will guide you in making decisions and stay on course. I am a believer in dreaming big- without big dreams big achievements might not come to fruition. And also, life has a way of creating bumps in the road; the better you can manage such intrusions or problems, the more resilient you can be as a human. I highly encourage outside-the-box creative thinking!

The most important factor in overall wellness is connection with others. Hey Larry! Wow, what a great (and complex) question! In my experience, living my best life and having all I've ever wanted has looked different at different points in my life. But overall, the common thread is figuring out what it is that I want and going after it. And that involves creating a plan with the steps to get there. Several years ago I wanted to pivot careers and so I approached it like a project where I was the project manager. I wrote out the plan with the stated goals, desired outcomes, the skills I had that would help me get there, any gaps in skills that I needed to address, and the overall steps I needed to take to meet my goal. It came with a lot of iteration but eventually I got there! And I think that's oftentimes what it takes... determining what you want (not always an easy feat), making a plan, and taking the steps needed. You've got this!

I will do my best to help you. Let me start by saying normally tough times do not last, tough people do. So please know, most of these situations are not forever.
I have had some tough times too. Poverty, unemployment, heartbreak from relationships, heartbreak when my father died. A few other things here and there.
At some point I realized that I have two choices, I could let those circumstances consume me and overwhelm me or I can learn lessons from these times. I can use them to become a stronger person.
It took time and it was not easy. For example, my dad was my hero. My dad is my hero. However, he is no longer here. So I could sit in my own sadness or take action. I recounted all the lessons he every taught me. I made it a point to live every day to make him proud. I made it a choice to share the lessons he taught me with others. In doing so, I discovered how incredible his life was and how much he actually taught me.
Another example is heartbreak from relationships. Oddly enough, I always hurt more when I ended it with someone versus when they ended it with me. Either way, every break up made me a better boyfriend for the next time. Now, I am a fairly decent husband. I had to recount the lessons to get better at what I struggled with at one point.
Needless to say this journey is not an easy one, but it is one that makes it all worth it. Recount your lessons, count your blessings, and pay it all forward. Tough times do not last, you on the other hand do last.
