The best courses to take are in the Science and technology field. You should be less concerned about easy and focus more on what courses will help land you the job that you are wanting. Hard work and dedication will take you a lot further than looking for easy. Feel confident that you can tackle what is presented to you and study hard to reach your maximum potential. It will pay off in the end. Once you are settled with your career choice, investigate/research and visit schools to see if you will be a good fit. Remember, life may have obstacles along the way, remain steadfast and you will succeed!

How to Read Professionally

Reading professionally involves developing skills that enhance comprehension, retention, and the ability to analyze and synthesize information effectively. Here are several steps to achieve this:

Set Clear Goals: Determine what you want to achieve from your reading. Are you reading for knowledge, skill development, or pleasure? Setting specific goals can help focus your efforts.

Choose Relevant Material: Select books, articles, and journals that are pertinent to your field of interest or profession. This ensures that the information you consume is applicable and beneficial.

Create a Reading Schedule: Allocate specific times for reading in your daily or weekly routine. Consistency helps in building a habit and allows for deeper engagement with the material.

Take Notes: While reading, jot down important points, ideas, and questions that arise. This practice aids in retention and provides a reference for future use.

Summarize What You Read: After finishing a chapter or article, summarize the key points in your own words. This reinforces understanding and helps identify areas that may need further exploration.

Discuss with Others: Engaging in discussions about what you’ve read can deepen understanding and provide new perspectives. Consider joining book clubs or professional groups related to your field.

Apply What You Learn: Try to implement the concepts or skills acquired from your readings into real-life situations or projects at work or school.

Stay Updated: Follow industry news and trends by subscribing to relevant publications or online platforms to keep your knowledge current.

Practice Critical Thinking: Analyze the material critically by questioning the author’s arguments, identifying biases, and considering alternative viewpoints.

Read Widely: Diversify your reading list beyond just professional materials; include fiction, history, science, etc., as this broadens perspective and enhances creativity.

How to Make Money Easily When Young

Making money as a young person often requires creativity, resourcefulness, and sometimes leveraging technology. Here are some strategies:

Freelancing: Utilize skills such as writing, graphic design, programming, or social media management on platforms like Upwork or Fiverr where you can offer services on a project basis.

Online Tutoring: If you excel in certain subjects, consider tutoring peers or younger students online through platforms like Tutor.com or Chegg Tutors.

Selling Products Online: Use e-commerce platforms like Etsy (for handmade goods) or eBay (for reselling items) to sell products directly to consumers.

Participating in Market Research: Sign up for market research studies where companies pay participants for their opinions on products/services through sites like Survey Junkie or Swagbucks.

Pet Sitting/Dog Walking Services: Offer pet care services within your community using apps like Rover which connects pet owners with caregivers.

Gig Economy Jobs: Explore opportunities with companies like Uber Eats or DoorDash where you can work flexible hours delivering food.

Content Creation: Start a YouTube channel or blog focused on a niche topic of interest; monetization can come from ads once you build an audience.

Internships/Part-Time Jobs: Look for internships related to your field of study which may offer stipends; part-time jobs also provide income while gaining experience.

Hello, John !

I hope that you are doing well. You've asked a good question and I am always happy when people reach out for information and advice and I'd be happy to share some thoughts with you !

There really isn't a position in which one gets paid solely for reading. Reading would be a job duty, not a career or a specific job. Two careers that come to mind are being a Voice Over Artist/Voice Actor or working in a Publishing Company where they publish books. Both take quite a bit of training, education as well as experience before you can progress in these fields of work.

To work at a Publishing House, you would want to attend college and major in something like English, American Literature or Literature or even Journalism. You would want to get a Bachelors Degree and strongly consider to continue for a Masters Degree. You'll want the Masters Degree due to how competitive positions in the publishing or journalism fields are. The Masters Degree might open doors faster than a Bachelors Degree.

To become a voice over artist, a voice actor, you would need to take Voice Over training and continue with it until you feel ready and learn how to make your demo reel. You would be reading aloud on recordings. This would be primarily for Audio Books and you would be reading the book as you record it. You would also need to learn the business end of this career and get some experience if you are not already a stage or screen actor.

To your inquiry about making money fast (really at any age) and what American school courses get you the most money, I have to say that there is no answer to that. Money doesn't come "easy". If you want a job right now, it would be a matter of applying for various jobs and when you obtain an interview, you'd have to wait for the employer to make a hire decision. There'd be many others besides yourself applying for the same job, so this structure makes it impossible to know how "quick" one would be hired.

I am curious as to why you are asking about the "easiest" American course you can take. No one can tell you what you will find easy or difficult while you're in school. You must discover that first hand - we all have. There really is no quick or magical way to have everything you want in life. It takes experience, education, dedication, deep interest and focus. Once you develop these, you will easily be able to navigate the labor market and put your interests to work. The same as what the "best" university is.

If you want to discover what college is best for you, you will have to visit some of your local colleges for an orientation and read their websites, too. You will be the one choosing the college and no one should tell you which one will be best for you. It's not helpful to obtain random opinions about colleges because you are the one who knows what you want to major in and whether or not you want to attend college locally or move to study at a further away college or one out of state. Start out reading the websites of colleges in your local area, the closest college being Genesee Community College with campuses in Batavia, Medina, Warsaw, Dansville, and Arcade, New York. The four year Universities closest to you would be in a range of 120 to 170 miles from where you live. They are State University of New York College of Technology at Alfred in Alfred, New York, Houghton College in Houghton, NY, and D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY. You should begin your exploration with your local colleges and think about what town or city other than local that you would like to go to college at. You are going to have to make the discoveries and decisions on your own.

I would like to see you return here and ask more specific questions so that you can be well informed and have a good foundation while exploring colleges, careers and college courses. Your concerns about needing money quickly and wanting "easy" education may be a good place to explore, too, so feel free to return with whatever is on your mind.

Best wishes in all you do !

Lirio’s Answer

To read professionally, focus on developing good habits. Set aside regular time for reading, choose materials related to your field, take notes, and summarize key points to reinforce understanding.

For making money easily when young, consider part-time jobs like retail, tutoring, or freelance work. Online gigs, such as surveys or virtual assistance, can also be options.

The most marketable courses in the USA often include fields like computer science, nursing, engineering, and business. Simpler courses can vary by individual interest, but general studies or liberal arts might be less intensive.

The best university in the USA often depends on your area of study, but schools like Harvard, Stanford, and MIT are frequently top-ranked overall. Researching specific programs and campus cultures can help you find the right fit for you.
