Good Day, Sharvani !
You should always major in something you choose that you like and it seems as though you've learned some for PUC and CEBA and you always have the option to change majors. If you are interested in Finance, you can switch your major to Finance and proceed with a career choice that you make.
For advice tailored to your specific concern, you can ask more questions stating the college you are already attending and what year of college you are in. A major in Finance or Business would be helpful, but it will take some exploring on your part to apply the plan to your specific goals and what is doable for you at this time.
Over one thousand colleges in the United States offer a Bachelors Degree in Finance . You didn't state your study location, so I cannot address different regions, but if you are indeed in the U.S., you would have a wide choice and it very well may be that the same college you attend offers this Major. You should always major in and obtain your degree in the subject you want a career in.
Courses that are usually included for a major in Finance are Calculus, Accounting, Business Math, and Statistics. There are also Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Econometrics. You would also be studying financial theories and applications. In addition, the following subject classes are usually included: Investments, Valuation, International banking and finance, Financial planning and management, managerial accounting and financial reporting, data analytics and risk management and business communications. Of course, the courses vary from college to college so you will need to read the particular college catalogue of majors and courses. All colleges usually have websites at which this information can be found.
You can also consider switching your major to Economics and read up more about what courses are included for this major. The computer skills you already have will support just about any career including a career in Finance. If your current college has a Finance department for majors, visit the department in person and speak with the staff and students to get a real idea of it. Sometimes people are not sure how to make the decision because they're just thinking about it and nothing is connecting, so in person is always the best to understand and retain the information better - that is my advice for you. Only you should be in charge of your future because you are the best one that can direct it !
I hope that this is helpful and I wish you all the best moving forward with your decision !
