How often are you working with others in meteorology?
I'm interested in meteorology and want to know how often I will work and consult with others.

Hi Claire, this is a great question. Please see the link below from the National Weather Service, which says that teamwork and the ability to work with others are key skills in meteorology. I have added two more links for more perspectives.
Beyond that, a lot depends upon the specific role and organization you work for, as well as how you like to work. For example, I like to collaborate so I often invite others to work with me or at least provide feedback. Another person could do the same job without as much collaboration. Either approach could get the job done.
While government jobs in meteorology may not be increasing very much, jobs in the private sector have been increasing to respond to changes in weather. Often, companies look for people who work well with others.
