Is it more important to do one thing really well in high school or to do many things?

I participated in music very heavily in high school and so that caused me to have less time for clubs or sports. I'm wondering which option gives you an edge when applying to college. #college-admissions

This is a great question. In high school it's important to get good grades, but also equally important to participate in extra curricular activities that interest you. That was when it comes time to apply for college, not only can you show good grade and hard work in your class work, you can also show that you have a passion for activates that interest you. Hope this helps.

Hello dear, very good question.

If you are passionate about music then there is nothing wrong in dedicating more time in music.

But I believe that you can also join other activities because it will make you discipline.

Schedule your day in music, other activities and studies. It will also increase your patience. It will help you in learning something new.

But if you are a passionate about music then gain the knowledge about that different different sources and invest time in the related activities.

Thank you
