What type of real estate classes should I take in high school, is there even classes in high school for that?
I am an 8th grader but I really want to be a real estate agent and I want to learn about it early so I can have an idea of it. I want to know if there are classes for it starting high school and if there are classes you recommend me joining.

Paola in high school, take classes that prepare you for college. A college preparatory curriculum may be different from your state's graduation requirements. You should also consider taking some advanced courses in high school. This includes Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) courses if they are available in your school. If you do well in these courses, you may receive college credit for them. Advanced courses can also strengthen your college application. You should also check with a teacher or counselor to see if work-based learning opportunities are available in your school and community for future realtors. These might include field trips, job shadowing, internships, and actual work experience. The goal of these activities is to help you connect your school experiences with real-life work real estate agents.
One of the easiest ways to learn more about real estate and meet like-minded peers is to join a real estate club on campus. Many colleges and universities have student organizations dedicated to exploring different aspects of real estate, such as investment, development, management, or finance. By joining a real estate club, you can access valuable resources, such as guest speakers, workshops, newsletters, and mentorship programs. You can also participate in events, such as field trips, case competitions, and networking sessions, where you can interact with industry professionals and potential employers.

I've never heard of classes available in high school to learn about being a real estate agent. You could ask your guidance counselor. I would recommend you go into a real estate office in your community and tell them about your desire. They may know what classes would be beneficial or where you can take seminars or get training. I'd even ask if you could job shadow them on a few of their calls to get a quote for selling someone's house or someone looking at a house to buy. The realtor could educate you on what he looks for, research he does and how he interacts with customers, potential or current.
