In essence, as you finish several college applications, the process will gradually become less challenging. It's crucial to approach each application with care and attention to ensure precision and reflectiveness. Many colleges use comparable prompts, allowing you to modify your essays accordingly. Additionally, it's beneficial to have another person review your essays for valuable feedback.

Applying to colleges can be time-consuming - but I promise that once you complete one application it is easier to complete more!
There are a lot of colleges in the United States that use the Common App - an online college application platform that helps to gather materials and information that you can use for multiple applications. If you make an account on Common App and complete the basic information required for the profile, it will set you up for success. It will save your test scores, list of clubs and activities, letters of recommendation, transcripts etc. I would start by making a profile on Common App and then look into all the required materials you will need to upload. Once you upload those materials, it will make it easier for you to apply to multiple colleges because most schools require these same materials.
Also, most colleges will ask you to write a personal essay. You can write one personal essay and use it for multiple applications. I worked on completing my personal essay the summer before my senior year of high school. This helped me feel more prepared!
Some colleges have other essays they ask you to complete in addition to your personal statement. I recommend researching your top schools to see if they require additional essays in their application. It is important to know this in advance so you have plenty of time to complete them.
I would 1) check out making a common app profile and take note of the different materials you will need 2) start drafting your personal essay early. 3) research which colleges you are applying to have extra writing requirements and make a plan for completing those as well.
