Since you live in the state of Minnesota, you have a great number of options that you can select from.
This includes the University of Minnesota, which has an excellent basketball program, and further down there is the Minnesota State University at Mankato, who took home the 2024 NCAA Division II National Basketball Championship. Another good Division II university is Saint Cloud University, and Winona State University (which has also won National Division II basketball titles).
If your abilities and skill levels reach a good level, where you can be recruited and play at the upper NCAA level, these might be a good option for you.
Minnesota also has a very good NCAA Division III system. This includes college, with excellent athletic programs, like Saint Johns University, Saint Olaf University, Gustavus Adolphus College, Augsburg University, and the University of St. Thomas.
So, there are a variety of excellent programs for you to choose from, if you wish to stay inside the state of Minnesota (and keep your tuition costs down), and pursue the goal of playing college basketball.
