Is becoming a professor at a more prestigious university a realistic goal ?

I would like to major in classics in college, and purse getting a masters and doctoral degree as well.

Of course, it's all about patience and perseverance. Don't think that you can't achieve your goals and objectives. It's better to think about everything you've achieved little by little and keep in mind that you are the goal you want to achieve, improving every day and being consistent is a great process to achieve the things you want.
