How to find good colleges that majors in being a surgeon?

Have you looked into a biomedical sciences program at your college? This major will expose you to most of the diverse subjects you'll need to tackle in medical school. The highest acceptance rate for medical school is biological science. You'll need to shine in your studies, take up leadership roles and clock in hours at a hospital, clinic or doctor's office. My daughter, for example, worked as a medical scribe during her undergrad degree. You'll also need to prepare for the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) and aim to score 510 or higher. It's a good idea to apply to several medical schools. The application process involves writing a top-notch personal statement, securing letters of recommendation, completing both a primary and secondary application, and acing an interview. Hopefully, you'll get multiple interviews where you'll have the chance to impress and stand out from the crowd.

Sly -- to become a surgeon, you must first take "pre-med" courses in college. These include biology, organic chemistry, statistics, and calculus. This website lists the courses generally needed to successfully apply for medical school:

Admission to medical school is highly competitive. Some students who are unsuccessful at admission to a U.S. medical school apply for medical schools outside the U.S.
Once medical school is completed, it is necessary to undertake residency in a hospital for one or more years as a surgeon. This is the time for direct experience as a surgeon under the guidance of experienced surgeons.
All this is to say that becoming a surgeon requires much study and experience. It is a noble profession, and I wish you every success in pursuing it.

Physicians and Surgeons are similar in their responsibilities and duties in taking care of patients and in dealing with hospital staff and medical personnel. The main difference between the two professionals is that Surgeons operate on patients whereas Physicians do not. Physicians diagnose patients and treat their medical conditions. Operations performed by Surgeons can be treating injuries like broken bones, removal of diseases like tumors and cancers, deformities, etc.
While in high school, one will need to focus on science and math classes to prepare to be a Physician or a Surgeon. Chemistry and biology will be the core science courses. For math, algebra, calculus and statistics will be needed. Both concentrations will enable you to focus and refine your analytical skills for research; complex problem solving; investigative and innovative critical thinking; attention to detail; etc.
