What are some good colleges to go to if you want to be a teacher?
I'm a freshman in high school but I want to start looking at colleges so I can start deciding what I want to do.

Make sure to chat with a few of your teachers about their experiences. Ask them where they studied, what they enjoyed about their programs, and what they might have changed. Get in touch with the education departments and find out how many of their students managed to pass the necessary Praxis test on their first try.
Also, ask if they offer any programs that allow first-year students to assist or observe in local schools. This could be a great way to see if this field is a good fit for you.

Great question, Janis!
If you have a career counselor at your high school, definitely make an appointment to talk with them. They will be able to help you find colleges in your area, and even in other states, that have strong Education degree programs. If that is not an option, ask one of your teachers for advice on colleges that would be good, and ask them where they went to college. If there are certain colleges that you are interested in already, a quick search on their website will let you know if they offer an Education degree.
Try some of these suggestions and I am sure you will get a good start on your research for colleges that offer Education degrees.
