Hi Patrick, great question! I love that you're still chasing your dreams. If there's a will, there's a way! The best path to the NBA would involve first playing in some lower level pro-leagues, perhaps the G-league or overseas. Lots of international players of all ages have been able to make it to the NBA by playing in European leagues or others. Your best bet would be spending a few seasons in another league and try to make connections with an agent or other NBA members.
Thanks for the advice.

Hello Patrick,
Absolutely, you can still pursue your NBA dreams even if you're past 30, though it might present a bit more of a hurdle. The majority of players are spotted in their youth, with teams generally prioritizing the molding of younger talent. However, if you're in top-notch physical condition, possess a unique skill set, and harbor a deep love for the game, opportunities are indeed out there.
Here are several factors to keep in mind:
- **G League**: Numerous NBA teams have G League partners that occasionally host open tryouts. This could be your ticket to catching the eye of NBA scouts.
- **International Opportunities**: A significant number of players have carved out successful careers abroad before making the leap to the NBA.
- **Age Consideration**: While it's not the norm, there have been players who've broken into the NBA in their 30s, so it's far from being an unattainable goal. However, teams typically scout for younger prospects unless they're in need of seasoned experience.
- **Physical Health**: Keeping yourself in prime physical shape is of utmost importance, particularly as you age.
If you're truly committed, it might still be worth giving it a shot! All you need to do is shine through your skills, resolve, and dedication.
