Can a teacher apply for a scholarship for a class??
We need Microsoft materials, but our district is out of funds.#Fall24

Hi Debbie - it is great that you want to assist your teacher. Here are some ideas:
- If you have an active PTA or PTO (parent teacher organization), they may be able to help or do some fundraising on her behalf.
- If not, some civic organizations or local philanthropic organizations may be able to help. Civic organizations could include Rotary Club or Lions, and local philanthropic organizations could include community foundations or family foundations
- Local businesses or local branches of larger companies (such as banks or grocery stores) may be able to at least subsidize
- If none of those options work, your teacher could create a project on Donors Choose (see link below). My family members have used this before, and it works great
- Lastly, Microsoft itself has many programs for educators (see two links below). Perhaps your teacher could get the materials needed (or at least a better price) from one of them
