John Jay College of Criminal Justice is highly regarded throughout the NY/NJ/CT metro area. https://jjay.cuny.edu/academics/undergraduate-programs.
I will also add that it is not necessary to study criminal justice or "pre-law" if you are interested in attending law school and practicing as an attorney. Degrees in Accounting, Business, Finance, English, Languages, Sociology, are just some undergrad degrees that can be a great foundation. An uncommon suggestion is to look into an English or Fine Arts program that heavily emphasize the "Great Books". This classic liberal arts education could also serve a future law student well.
Good luck with your quest. Remember to enjoy the journey.
