Ronasia, it will depend on different factors such as the cost of living, specialty focus, and work environment. A large city may offer a greater salary commensurate with the cost to live in that area. Working in nonprofit vs a private hospital or for the government may also have variance in starting pay. Additionally, a certain niche area of psychology may also be in higher demand, and this could potentially be reflected in the salary. If you are in private practice, you can set your own pay rate. What I have noticed in Seattle, is a starting salary anywhere between 120-150,000 annually. In contrast, someone with a master's degree might start anywhere from 60-80,000 and sometimes less. A psychiatrist on the other hand may start in/around 200,000. Take this with a grain of salt and do some of your own research however! Great luck to you in whatever field you pursue in life!

Hey Ronasia,
Per "https://www.onetonline.org/link/summary/19-3033.00", the 2023 median wage is about $100K in 2023 for Clinical and Counseling Psychologists. I would recommend to explore the site for further info like related occupants, and other workforce characteristics.
There are a few other websites you can leverage too:
Glassdoor (glassdoor.com)
Indeed (indeed.com)
PayScale (payscale.com)
Salary.com (salary.com)
