Boost your chances of securing local scholarships with these platforms and tips:
Scholarship Search Engines
Fastweb: This tool refines scholarship searches based on location, major, and other parameters.
Scholarships.com: This platform provides a comprehensive database of both national and local scholarships.
Chegg Scholarships: This site offers a searchable database with filters for location-specific scholarships.
Local Community Resources
Libraries, high schools, and local non-profits are great places to start. They often maintain lists of scholarships for residents or community members.
Community organizations such as Rotary Clubs, Kiwanis Clubs, or other civic groups in your area could also be potential sources.
College Financial Aid Offices
Colleges frequently offer local or regional scholarships to their incoming or current students. Don't hesitate to schedule an appointment with the financial aid office.
State or Regional Platforms
Consider exploring state-specific sites like [yourstate]scholarships.org or local educational foundations.
Networking
Engage with teachers, mentors, or career advisors and ask about any scholarships they might know of in your area.
These resources and tips are designed to help you locate scholarships that align with your local area and academic aspirations. Start your search early and apply to as many opportunities as possible for the best results!

Hi Angel! I hope this finds you doing well! As far as local scholarships go, I am not sure there is one platform that will provide you with that information as most local scholarships are smaller scale. I would encourage you to reach out to your school counselor to find more information on that. Most of the time they can provide you with a list of places that offer scholarships and what the requirements are to apply for them. However, with that being said there are many websites out there that provide information on scholarships such as:
https://bigfuture.collegeboard.org/scholarship-search
https://www.scholarships.com/
https://studentaid.gov/understand-aid/types/scholarships
I encourage you to look at these to get more information! And good luck to you! :)

Thank you, this is amazing! I really needed it.
