Given the vastness of the field, it might be helpful to focus on a particular branch like biology, biotechnology, chemistry, physics, engineering, virology, zoology, or botany. Each of these areas offers a multitude of career options. Take biology for instance, where you can delve into cell biology, biochemistry, or bioinformatics, among others. Once you've pinpointed your area of interest, try to explore which career within that field captures your curiosity the most! Being in New York, you're in luck as there are several prestigious institutions for studying science, including Cornell, Columbia, SUNY, and RPI.

Hello! I'm a pharmacist in NYC. Science covers a broad range of careers, so I would suggest going on google and researching your options. You can enter into the healthcare, research, business, or technical science careers but there are even more options within each of these sectors and theres also inter-collaborations between them! I suggest looking into the amount of education, on hands experience, and salary expectations for different types of careers and see what you are interested in. You can consider what you are currently interested in and see the different career paths that particular science field has. Additionally, you can look into what the "hype" is right now - AI is extremely "hype" now and will probably be for the coming years and see if that peaks your interest. Hope that helps!
