Dr. Kelly’s Answer

If you are applying to colleges, I would look at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's undergraduate program that combines biological sciences with aero physiology. Since you still have a year or two left of high school, use it to your advantage and match your course choices to your intended curriculum to have a great foundation in the field. If your school offers dual enrollment or your parent allows you to do affiliated summer programs, I would highly advise that you try one and see how you do. Actual lab work may have a minimum age of 18 if you work with anything dangerous, but there is no reason you cannot begin introductory-level science courses or even required math. https://erau.edu/degrees/bachelor/aerospace-physiology

If there is another school you are interested in, look at the curriculum and ensure that the requirements spark your interest. If they don't, you may be counting the days until it ends!
