I never was apart of a corps but I did apply and that was during my 3rd year of college (ameri corps). Hopefully, you found this useful. Currently, I have one child. I am not fully in my career yet but I am a RBT (registered behavioral technician) I need my masters/doctoral to do what I want to do. Best of luck!
