Becoming a teacher provides many opportunities to travel around the world. Teaching connects you within the community to see what life is like outside of the touristy areas. There are opportunities for certified teachers or TEFL certificates.

Military, military contractors, national science foundation support, airline flight crew, U.S. embassy support.
Getting TEFL certified and teaching English will get you a job all over Asia, the demand is quite high and the pay is reasonable enough to live in a big city and travel around. If you learn Korean, Japanese, or Chinese you can teach business level English and get paid very well. I have a friend who learned Mandarin so well he tutors Chinese kids in their own language. You could go to other parts of the world this way but the opportunities are less.
Global humanitarian agencies such as the U.N. or the Red Cross also have positions that require international travel.

As a chef have opened, operated, developed, and trained, restaurants all over the world. Being a chef, in the restaurant business, in hospitality, allows you the opportunity to find positions where you travel often. That my peak, I was traveling 85% of the time US, Asia, Mexico, and have great memories, but also keep in mind. It’s not all fun games. Think about plane delays, that hotel stays, being away from home, and that would be the negative. Then think about with all the traveling you do all the points that you get to keep and that would be a positive. If you’re just beginning a hotel or restaurant group that has properties around the globe is probably the best place to start. Do a great job and be part of a training team. When I had my restaurants, I had a group of young servers, cooks, and general restaurant folks that traveled with me to open up our new restaurants. Should you choose hospitality one day just go into LinkedIn and type in under your job search travel chef for instance. Great success to you.
