The military offers a strong career path and is likely the quickest option. You can join as a reservist or active duty member. After about 7.5 weeks of basic training, you attend a technical school with clinicals. In less than a year, you can take the ASCP (MLT) board exam to become an MLT (ASCP). The best part is you get paid while you train and qualify. In the USAF, this path is called AFSC 4T Medical Laboratory. Cheers!
