I am interested in working in nature in the field of environmental science and conservation biology. I would love some advice about how to pursue this career field.

However, many of these are attempts to cover up their true, environmentally harmful revenue sources, also known as green-washing.

If you're genuinely interested in working for biodiversity, consider starting with Vandana Shiva's speech at Naropa University. Key points from her speech include: 1. The currency of life isn't money; we need to strengthen our connection with the earth. 2. A country's GDP often reflects environmental destruction: cutting down forests shows growth, while preserving them does not.
