What are some ways to start earning money as a student in high school?
Hello! I am currently a freshman in high school and am interested in architecture and business, specifically hospitality. I have good experience in both of these fields, and have taken, and am planning on taking more courses to further my studies on this. In addition to this, I am skilled in baking and cooking as well, and marketing. Are there any ways for me to earn a good amount of money as a student? While I don't expect too much in the beginning, I do want to earn a lot down the road.

You might want to try baking some cakes, cookies, and desserts. Take nice photos of them and share on social media like Facebook or Instagram. Start by sharing with your friends, and they can tell their friends. This way, you'll get more followers and potential customers. Trust me, food businesses are always a hit.
Also, put yourself in the customer's shoes. Ask yourself: What would I want to buy if I were the customer? How can my products stand out? What would attract customers to my treats?
Hope this helps!
Best wishes.

You could start small by selling baked goods to friends, family, or at local events. Use your marketing skills to create a simple brand and promote it on social media. That can help you grow a customer base while doing something you enjoy. You could also offer to help small businesses with things like social media posts, flyers, or basic branding. A lot of local places are happy to get help from someone who understands how to market things well.
On the architecture side, try creating simple room layouts or mood boards for people you know. It’s a great way to practice design and get experience while building your skills.
Start with what you enjoy, keep it simple, and let it grow over time. You may not earn a lot right away, but the experience will add up and can definitely lead to bigger opportunities in the future.

Why not contact your local community college to see if they offer apprenticeship programs? These programs are a great way to learn a trade. You get to work and learn at the same time, which means you earn money while gaining important skills. Plus, the hands-on experience will make your resume stand out to future employers.
Wishing you the best on your career path! 😊

You can kick things off by launching a small business. Try selling soda to your neighbors or setting up a cart with cookies or candies. It's a great way to begin!

I recommend going to local shops, or event folks in your community that you know how to work to that needs help getting done and asking if they can use the help! It doesn't have to be something crazy, but a couple of hours here and there can start giving you the confidence and knowledge to find more and more opportunities.
