Forensics is an intriguing field and can be rewarding and heartbreaking at the same time. William M. Bass was a forensic anthropologist and he build a facility on the grounds of the University of Tennessee to study things like decomposition, the age of bones and other forensic first. The facility is called the The Body Farm.
