Kanan’s Answer

it is somewhat competitive but doesn't make it impossible, I interviewed with a big four company but didnt get it and I was okay with that because I was not prepared. The year after I reapplied, had some experience under my belt and was able to answer every question with confidence, so in the end its just you who you need to worry about, just be confident!

Benjamin’s Answer

It is somewhat competitive. The most competitive jobs are work-study jobs. These jobs are given out to students who have work-study as a part of their financial aid package. These students are given priority over non work-study students. Over 50% of students apply to these kinds of jobs. For the most part, over 70% of kids who are granted work-study jobs on my campus got a job. There are also non work study jobs that students can apply to, but those are harder to get and their qualifications are different from work-study jobs. Most student job qualifications are great customer service, attention to detail, and great work ethic.

Benjamin recommends the following next steps:

Find out if you have work-study as part of your financial aid package and apply to those jobs.
