Will being apart of an Honors College give me career opportunities during and after college?

I'm entering my freshman year of high school and was thinking about trying to get into an Honors College. Is the extra work on my gpa to get into an Honors College worth possibly not having as many extra curricula's on my resume? #HonorsCollege #highschool #freshman #gpa

Hi Riley! In my experience, it doesn't have a huge influence on your resume or how hiring managers perceive you. But I do think it can be beneficial for your personal experience and help you learn in a more close-knit environment. It's all about what works best for you!

Wow Riley! Honors college is a great honor. It definitely will enhance your college experience. You typically have a great multitude of support during and after college with whatever school you choose. Colleges look for well rounded students which means Honor College and extracurricular activities. I suggest you look at seeing if you can balance both Honors College and at least one extracurricular activity.
