Working on Amazing productions. The ideal day to day is Working - on something preferably paying a respectable living wage or better. If not working: Auditioning. Ideally constantly. Auditions are the constant & necessary link to Working. If you're not auditioning perhaps because you need an Agent to work for you & send you out on auditions then your day to day is about getting an Agent (or Manager). If you are submitting yourself then your day to day is combing sources for casting notices or "Breakdowns" for roles. If you have no Agent/Manager & you're not Working & you're not Auditioning then your day to day is working a Temp job, or Bartender, or Waiter, or Proofreader, Tech guy/gal, or Babysitter, or Military Reservist, or Substitute Teacher - All jobs I've know Actors to do as Survival Jobs until that Acting Gig comes along or even some combo of Both- blending Survival w/Acting until you can hopefully shed the Survival job. Because your Overwhelming Desire is to A C T ! So you do what you must to Keep Acting (Working) or to at least enrich that craft by let's say taking an Acting class? Or seeing a movie? Museums? Watching people? Learning yourself?...& Living your Life to the Fullest until you get that next Gig!
