Enjoyment from providing computer support can come in a multitude of ways. I had an interest in computers growing up and always considered turning that interest into a career in information technology (IT). Working in IT sets you on a path for career advancement and likely much more financial stability. When thinking specifically about a computer support position, I enjoyed the following:
- Helping others to succeed with technology
- Continuously acquiring new skills to help throughout your entire career
- No two days are alike; there are new and exciting challenges to look forward to
- The art and team effort of troubleshooting and problem solving
- Providing solutions to increase effectiveness and efficiency of the company
- Interaction with colleagues
