Rafael’s Answer

Hey Rasheeda,

There are different choices you can make starting by where you would like to study and the course focus. You can find technical programs for the duration of 1 year and a half or go to a full 3 years program. I have some friends who work in the area and from shared experience what I could say is it’s quite important to be focus as to know what you want to do it and how to do it.

Technical skills: what you could put to together and how to do it

Communication and management skills: how you interact with your colleagues is crucial as the result is a team effort. Profit is certainly a very import focus for your employer as how you manage your stock. How you hand adversity and how easily can you create and innovate considering you have limited resources and from time to time you will have to improvise.

Creativity skills: how you see things and adjust to innovate.

I would say the skill set you should possess would be management, analytical and communication skills. How difficult it is depending on how comfortable you are with those skills and how you handle adversity.

Rafael recommends the following next steps:

Try to attend to a career day in a institute on your location and it will certainly offer you perspective.
