I love my work and that's why I enjoy it. I have a theory that you should do what you love to do and you will always be best at it.
Just like anything else there are good days and bad days at work, but that is just not enough for me to despise my work.
I like to learn new technologies and feel proud to be part of the change, I somehow feel that I am adding towards a change in the society with my work and that is something I like as well.

I like developing people and helping them get the skills needed to reach their career goals. I also enjoy making the work atmosphere one where employees feel comfortable, engaged and that they have opportunities and can be their authentic self. What I like least about my job is trying to coach people who give me the impression they only want to do the minimum - to just get by - instead of wanting to be their personal best. I didn't really decide on this field but I've been in it for 30 years and have been so happy and blessed. I was introduced to the insurance industry through the one college internship I earned as an auto claims adjuster. It was interesting to take calls, listen to the details of what happened, and then determine next steps. From their I got a job as a fire underwriter (determining if homes, boats, manufactured homes, etc. was eligible for insurance). In those jobs I got to travel for work, train others, develop training materials, lead others, develop others and develop processes. I am so grateful to be in this field. I didn't know Risk Management was the college curriculum for this industry. I majored in business - economics.
