For most elementary school teachers, do you have a second job during the summer?

Usually during the summer holidays I am planning for the next term after the holidays.

It all depends on what sort of teacher you plan to be? For instance training courses being run by other teachers or the school administration. Also you might have to write the student reports for parents and then the end of term reports. Then in addition if you get a different program for the following term you have to draw up a new plan for yourself and the volunteers who are going to assist you next term. Remember to consult with your school mentor and follow there advice and instructions. Teaching is a wonderful career opportunity and I wish you the best of luck with your full time job.
