Nidhi’s Answer

I am a Btech by education but had never thought of entering into a networking profession. But I am doing it and the best part is enjoying it too. The most challenging part is everyday there is something new that you'll learn. Yes it definitely sounds interesting but when it actually comes to implement it more of a nightmare because you don't know if you actually are ready to learn the new things coming up. Although once you get a hang of it you start enjoying it anyway

Thank you comment icon Its easy when you know something and you deliver it. However, the most challenging part is, when some issue or technology is very new, there is very limited information available either internally or over the web and it is expected you to deliver it or resolve the issue. Jonathan’s Answer

I work as a sales manager, for me the most challenging thing is finding different ways to keep my team motivated to perform at a high level. I’m one of the youngest people at my store and having a bunch of veteran reps can be challenging because they are set in their ways. My mindset has always been that I have to adapt to overcome challenges, some reps wont see it the same way I do. I have to make sure to keep it competitive, fun, and challenging all at the same time. I do that by way of contests, banter, or just throwing challenges at them. It doesn’t affect my personal life because I do my best to leave work at work and keep my personal life separate. I do my best to live in the moment.

Robin’s Answer

I work in Human Resources leading a team of professionals and the most challenging part of my job is the people management. Finding what motivates people, creating an environment of inclusion and opportunity, providing feedback, and giving support during stressful peaks are all pieces of people management and can be draining at times. Being part of their success is extremely rewarding and motivating but it is challenging as these are people's lives and daily interactions can create pivottable moments in their careers so need to be deliberate and thoughtful.

Tom’s Answer

I would say the most challenging aspect of my job is the constant process iteration and technological innovation required to meet the needs of all stakeholders in keeping pace with a constantly changing, competitive business environment. However, I would say that this is the most rewarding aspect of my job as well. Finding solutions to meets customer needs through continuously improving processes, services and products brings a level of personal satisfaction that far offsets the intense focus and efforts required to achieve these objectives. I would suggest that seeking out challenging projects and opportunities, regardless of your role, provides the greatest opportunity for both personal development and growth as well as finding true satisfaction and enjoyment of your job. Good luck!

Sarah’s Answer

Hi Karyme,

I am currently a Corporate Sales Account Executive (sales) at a technology company. Being in a sales role I have quota that I have a goal of achieving each quarter, this is also how I am compensated. A challenging part of sales can be the pressure that is put on you to hit your goal or quota, the great part though is that it is in your control. In sales, you are going to get out of it what you put into it. If you put in a lot of time, effort and hard work it will probably yield positive results. This can sometimes be stressful and time-consuming and therefore affect your outside life.

All jobs will come with their own unique challenges, it's important to find something you love so it's worth it!

Christine’s Answer

I am tasked with ensuring our services are executing against the strategy of our leader. Sometimes it is hard to bring multiple opinions to the table and find 1 suitable pathway to solve a problem or get to a resolution. I must balance all personalities with also doing the right thing and there are new and different business problems every day.

Ghulam’s Answer

Hi Karyme,
Being a network engineer I have to provide a salable design solution to the client based on their requirement and definitely it has to be cost effective, this needs one to be very advance and always updated on the trending technologies, always has to invest some hours in studying/learning which sometime needs you to borrow time from your personal life.

But on the other hand, challenges are something which makes you keep growing.
