Bryant’s Answer
Bryan,
What career path are you asking about?
For a Career Path look at it as something that brings motivation, happiness and something that you want to do every day. Do not go to a career path for money as that would be short term and not good. It is ok to shadow professionals where you are at to meet them first hand, seeing videos on Youtube or other social media sources to get some in-depth knowledge about the Career path.

Hi Bryan,
I am not sure what career you are specifically asking about but I would say in general there are key things that are valued no matter what career you are in.
1 - Listen - Actively listen to people and engage. You are spending time talking to them and they are doing the same, so respect that and don't let yourself get distracted by others or technology.
2- Patience - People can communicate very differently, so having patience to understand and communicate effectively will go a long way.
3 - Communication - Being able to effectively communicate and let people know what is happening during projects or upcoming changes will go a long way to gaining a positive reputation of someone who cares and informs those around them.
There are many more but I find just by doing these things above, will set you on the right path toward have a great career.
