What is the industry growth in the last 5 years in the medical field or neonatal nurses?

Dear Camryn, I am not an expert on the industry growth nationally, but I can tell you that there is always a need for good neonatal nurses in the Memphis, TN area. I have been a NICU Nurse manager for many years and we are always looking for nurses to work in this specialty. We continue to have more and more babies born prematurely that need this special help- and our industry continues to create better equipment to help us with this work. Its a great field if you are interested in working with families and helping them thru a very difficult time in their life. It requires a nurse who is kind but also very skilled and quality minded. We have been continuously looking at the quality of our care and working hard to improve every aspect and detail to improve outcomes for our tiny patients.
