You can get into any stream : Arts, Commerce, Science (Graduate / Engineering), MBA and still land up in IT industry. It has a job for everyone. :) Good news !!
Within IT you would find a number of streams which are diversed and need different qualifications , for example : Sales , Marketing, HR, Finance, Legal, Training, Project Management, Consulting, IT Design, Support.
All of these fields need not have a person to do an Engineering Course in Information Technology.
Find what you passion, what you are good at :
Can't sit at a place , like talking to new people : Sales , Marketing, Support could be your field.
Want to work quietly, have a great focus : Legal or Software Development, could be your field
Like working in teams : Operations / Project Program Management could work great for you.
If you choose the following you have a possibility of becoming the following :
Arts : Operations / Support / Management / Project - Program Management
- with Law : Legal Counsel / Contracts Specialists
- with MBA : Sales / Marketing / HR
Commerce : Finance / Accounts
Science : Software Development / Design / Support / Consulting

You could get job in IT with any degree. Company would look for knowledge, interest and your commitment. so first choose in which stream of IT who want as a career then start investing your time in gaining knowledge on that stream. work on small projects, go through online sources to know more content about the interested stream.

The IT sector recruits graduates from a variety of fields (I'm for instance a political science graduate and working in IT).
It dépends on the type of job you would like to start with (Sales, Engineering, Marketing, etc.).

Post 10th, you will have to complete your higher studies with a masters degree. Firstly decide in which stream of studies you have interest to progress and get into that stream. IT companies have Jobs in every field like, IT Support, Software development, Finance, Marketing, HR, Legal, Training, Sales, Consulting, IT Design, Support, Project Management, etc.,

It depends on what you want to do in the IT field, any courses in computers, programming, information technology, networking and maybe electronics if you want to be on the technical side will help you. You can also work for an IT company in other areas like management, sales, customer service, marketing, accounting, etc...good luck!

You should start with a simple programming language like Python. There are lot of online free courses available to learn this.
Once you learn python basics, you can start doing some simple projects that will help you to improve your skills.
Afterwards you should look at taking some classes on Javascript and databases
