Hi Abdiel,
My 18 year old is about to start college, and my soon-to-be-16yo is already looking at options, so we've had plenty of opportunity to use the tools available out there. And there are some really good ones. I'd recommend:
https://bigfuture.collegeboard.org/
https://www.niche.com/colleges/search/best-colleges/
https://www.collegesimply.com/
https://www.usnews.com/usnews/store/college_compass.htm
Good luck!
James

The best way to figure out what college to choose with your intended major would be to research. Make a list of your college choices and then look at each website at the majors that they offer. From there you could look at the department and requirements from each campus and see what fits best for you!

The first step in my opinion is to create a list of university based on ranking and then identify colleges that offer that major.
Once you have identified universities, create a bucket of ambitious, achievable, safe category based on your score. Apply to at least 5 colleges in those category to make sure you land up a seat hopefully in each category. You may also factor in fees and stuff while creating the list.
All the best for your college hunt, and don't get disappointed with the rejects. All you need one acceptance from college of your choice.
