Are automotive engineering positions limited based on location?

Are certain areas of the US better for automotive engineers or is the general position based in certain areas (ie Detroit with its car manufacturing legacy) ?

I am based in California #engineer #automotive #cars #mechanic

Yes, automotive industry vacancies are driven by location. Detroit is the capital of the automotive industry in the US, but there are some other locations where you can find the automotive industry. Ohio, Texas, Tennessee, and California are all states inhabited buy the automotive industry. You just need to look for it.
