As with many question, I think the answer is "it depends". If you look at the link Wael posted, the *range* of pay is very large, The lowest salary (dated as it may be) is $32K, and the highest $185K.
Depending on where you live, a salary of, say, $123K (the mean computer engineer salary) could be great! Or, if you live in a high cost of living area, it could be barely enough to pay the bills. This is why the website Salary.com (https://www.salary.com) uses these two dimensions, Job Title and Location as the main ways of helping you understand what jobs pay.
Lastly, while there are pay ranges or pay bands to decide what a junior engineer earns, hard work and grit can help you move up to more senior levels of engineering, which result in both, better pay (if you stay in the same company) or better opportunities with better pay (outside your current company).
