I'm a computer engineer, what internships can I get while still in school?
As a computer engineer, I am very excited to learn anything and everything I can about the engineering space of computers. However, we know how difficult it is to find high end internships in our majors. Living in New York City should make it easier to find internships, but It's still difficult to find. #computer #internships #computer-engineering

Hi! I would suggest to start applying in the fall for the next summer's internships as a lot of companies start recruiting for computer engineering internships in the fall. Try to set a goal for yourself to apply to a set number of internships everyday so that you have the best possible chance of landing one. While applying for internships, make sure to brush up on behavioral and technical concepts for interviews, so that you are prepared when you get an interview.
To find internships, I would first look on company websites that I am interested in to see when they recruit for summer interns. Then, I would go on handshake, LinkedIn, GlassDoor and even Google to search for internship opportunities that are relevant. Make sure to update your resume and to write cover letters for your applications, even when they are optional. Good luck in your search!
