I am thinking about participating in the broadcasting class at my school next year, would this be beneficial in hopes of having a career within sports broadcasting in my future?
I am a high school junior and am beginning to explore my options for my future following high school. It has been a dream of mine for quite some time to be involved in sports, particularly the NBA, as a post game interviewer. I would appreciate any tips or advice to get started in this industry. #sportsbroadcasting #class #sports #interviewer

Any exposure or experience in your desired area of interest will benefit you. Start small, do reporting on team sports in your school or community to gain some hands on experience. If your school has a newspaper help write some profiles on student athletes, broadcast some of the games. Volunteer with some youth sports leagues. Best of Luck!

YES. Take that class. Any aspiring broadcaster needs lots of practice -- in formal settings and on your own.
For becoming a post-game interviewer, please learn to ask follow-up questions. That's how you'll really get good stuff from your interview subjects.

Yes, take that class. Enjoy it and learn about every aspect of production. It's great to have a solid background so you understand all the hard work every person does to get a production on air.
I recommend you try working at your high school tv production area if they do any tv access channel work.
When you go to college work at the school newspaper and on tv productions they do there.
In college you need to get internships at local sports stations or at big sports networks.
Good luck. You can do it. It will be hard work.
