Thank you comment icon You have to have the determination and mind set on becoming one. You need to practice every day and you have to stay active and eat right. It is a tremendous amount of work, but if you put your mind down to it, you can do anything. Hard work ethic, practice all day. Rich

Aaron’s Answer

Hey Champ, I like that you have ambitious goals. As someone who lead the nation in Interceptions at the University of Oregon I believe this will help you.

1. Work out 2-3x a day - Shooting, Dribbling, Cardio mixed w/ Speed and Agility Drills - Mix it up - Shoot and Dribble everyday and condition
2. Watch and study defensive and offensive sets. There are only 3-5 Basic offensive and defensive principles. Learn them all
3. Learn to communicate effectively both with coaches, teammates, and support staff. This also includes people close and not close to you.
4. Be humble, kind, and grateful each day.
5. Believe in yourself

Jacob’s Answer

One of the biggest goals is to believe in yourself, work hard and practice everyday on your speed, shooting while heavily covered, stamina, and other things and always remember scouts look at best full teams then who's best in the team.

Jacob recommends the following next steps:

Step 1. Have a goal, be destined
Step 2. Join a Basketball team
Step 3. Build your skills and your teamskills
Step 4. Have a better understanding of all plays
Step 5. Keep Progressing your skill.
