What influenced you to pursue a career in law enforcement?

I am still pursuing law enforcewment, the reason I chose this career is to reach out to others and to have a day filled with something new everyday. Working at a desk you have a daily routine working in the field you never know what the day may bring. Pray for the best expect the worst but take what is next to come. in my opinion if you know how to talk to people it will take you a long way in law enforcement.

Law Enforcement was not my first choice. I was applying for jobs out of high school and was looking for something challenging. Loss Prevention caught my eye and I applied. It turned out to be an incredibly challenging and rewarding job. It made me want to be a police officer. The pace of the job. There was something new every day. I never stared at the clock, hoping my shift would come to an end. That, and giving back to the public.
